Ballet performance: Sleeping Beauty

Sleep also plays a big role at theater Flint this Christmas vacation. On Dec. 21, Flint will screen a ballet performance of Sleeping Beauty (Sleeping Beauty).

The evil fairy Carabosse curses Princess Aurora to 100 years of sleep by a single finger prick on her 16th birthday. Doomed by fate, only a prince's sweet kiss can break the spell and awaken the sleeping beauty.
The enchanting and dark fairy tale is brought to life in this outstanding production by Konstantin Sergeyev (of the legendary Kirov/Mariinsky Ballet).

A masterpiece of classical ballet with very beautiful and impressive dances from the 19th-century repertoire.

Visually stunning with Vyacheslav Ocunev's sumptuous set and elaborate costumes by Irina Press, this beautifully classic production features Tchaikovsky's world-famous score played live by the National Ballet of Moldova orchestra from Chisinau.

Magical family performance featuring 100 staff, soloists, corps de ballet and orchestra of the National Ballet of Moldova, Chisinau.
