Children's Book Festival

The Children's Book Week closes festively with the grand Children's Book Festival organized by the Eemland Library. This year's theme is: Be what you want. Kunsthal KAdE also participates with fun workshops. Check out the entire program below and buy your ticket quickly.

Ali's boat: workshop to accompany Sadik Kwaish Alfraji's children's book
Ali lives in Iraq, but most of all he would like to be somewhere else. His uncle Sadik lives in the Netherlands. Ali writes him a letter and draws a boat. "I wish this boat could take me to you" he writes with it. Sadik is an artist. He turns Ali's letter into a work of art and a children's book. His artworks about future dreams, travels, desires and memories are now on display at Kunsthal KAdE. The festival includes a creative workshop where you will hear the story of Ali's boat and design your own boat with future wishes.
