In connection with the exhibition Sleep!, Library Eemland and Kunsthal KAdE are organizing festive afternoons. This time at the most sleep-inducing place in Amersfoort; the Mannenzaal (Men's Hall). The Mannenzaal was built in 1531 for perhaps its most important purpose: sleep.
We will begin the afternoon by reading from a picture book about sleep on a giant rag doll created by artist Frank Koolen. Feel free to lie or sit on the doll and listen to the sleep stories. With a museum docent, you will tour the Men's Room after the reading and make something of your own to take home.
When: Sunday, October 6
Time: 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
Age: 4+
Location: Mannenzaal - Westsingel 47 Amersfoort
Costs: €7.50 (per parent with child)
