Kunsthal KAdE and Scholen in de Kunst have joined forces for this workshop. During this workshop you will discover how image and text reinforce each other and create a personal work of art. Experience is not necessary - our experienced teachers will help you step by step.
What to expect.
✔ An inspiring tour of the Inside Out exhibition at Kunsthal KAdE
✔ Creative writing assignments guided by professionals
✔ Free admission to the exhibition following the workshop
You will go home with a personal artwork that focuses on the recurring patterns in Hatoum's work.
Bring your own kitchen utensil!
Household objects play a big role in Hatoum's work. Therefore, bring an object from your own kitchen drawer, such as an old cake server, a special teaspoon or your favorite grater. You will incorporate this object into your personal artwork.
NB Your brought object will not go to waste, but serve as inspiration!
