Exhibition One Way Ticket to Mars

The exhibition One Way Ticket to Mars allows visitors to experience different aspects of the journey and stay on Mars. How unruly are the conditions of the newly discovered planet? Is living on Mars a terrifying idea or just a tantalizing one? The tour guide goes on to discuss the story behind the exhibition, the artworks and the participating artists.

Tour full: family travel guide

The family tour begins at 1 p.m. and lasts until 2 p.m. Report to the front desk on time, as reservations are not possible. A maximum of 15 people can join each tour. Is the tour full? Not to worry! Visit the exhibition independently with the family travel guide that you can pick up for free at the information desk. The travel guide is full of fun assignments and crafty questions for the whole family.

Children's Book Festival

As in previous years, the Eemland Library will close Children's Book Week with the Children's Book Festival! The festival will take place at the Eemhuis on Sunday afternoon, October 13, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. The theme of Children's Book Week 2019 is Travel along. The focus is not the destination but the transportation there. The Children's Book Festival is for children between the ages of 4 and 12. Children and their parents purchase a wristband (€7.50 euros per person) and can use it to participate in all activities throughout the afternoon. At Kunsthal KAdE we organize a children's tour and a family tour.
