As part of the exhibition Abrasive Paradise strike Kunsthal KAdE and Amersfoort Jazz ("A Musician's Paradise") joined forces. The Elleboogkerk, second exhibition location of Scouring Paradise, features work by artists Gijs Frieling and Sander Breure & Witte van Hulzen. On Aug. 13, Amersfoort Jazz comes to the church for a unique program. Poet Jacques de Waart and spoken word artist Monnik have been inspired by Gijs Frieling's mural and will tell a story about their Paradise. Saxophonists Coen Witteveen and Lucas Santana improvise with them. Meet abrasive poetry, free improvisation and spoken word during Amersfoort Jazz in the Elleboogkerk.
