While Kunsthal KAdE was preparing the exhibition Sleep! was being prepared, literary magazine DIG was working on a theme issue on the same phenomenon. For Sunday afternoon, December 15, DIG invited several makers to bring together both approaches. What forms of rest and restlessness do we experience during the hours when we are supposed to sleep? What disappears in the night? How can we read sleep, and how can we write sleep? What if sleep infuses text, if you let sleep be the subject of your work, if your work is the product of dreams?
We open the program with video work by Iris Cuppen in collaboration with Thomas & Jurgen. Choreographer Miri Lee presents the work "Flowing symmetries; Sleep" with violinist Kate Moore. Hannah Chris Lomans' reading interweaves artworks from the exhibition Sleep! into text. And Frances Welling, Anne Marijn Voorhorst, Asha Karami, Liene Schipper and Lucie Fortuin braided their dreams together into an audio piece.

Time: 3 p.m.-4:30 p.m.
