An installation full of colors in the dark, what would that be like?

On March 27, the Elleboogkerk will open its doors in the evening for a one-time event, and you can view the installation ECHO experience Stephen Dean's work in the dark.

Let yourself be carried away by her tender voice and dreamy compositions featuring violin, guitar, and bass clarinet. A unique way to ECHO to experience!

Artist Stephen Dean created the installation especially for the Elbow Church ECHO, consisting of ladders made of special glass. Daylight moves through the space via the glass; colors appear, disappear, and reform. The reflection of the colored glass changes constantly: deep yellow can shift to transparent red. Surfaces reflect and project color onto walls and into the air: nothing moves, and yet everything changes.

During the day, the sun brings the colored panels to life, but it’s in the evening that the colors really come into their own, and you can discover all the colors of the sunset here at the Elleboogkerk.
