On Friday, March 27, Charley Marie will fill the Elleboogkerk with her dreamy voice. In the dark, illuminated by artist Stephen Dean’s installation, the music will enchant the space.

Drawing on influences from classical chamber music, Charley Marie creates distinctive folk songs in which various genres come together organically. Her music is characterized by her tender voice and refined arrangements featuring guitar, strings, and woodwinds. In 2025, she released her debut album, *Hours of the Whale*—an intimate song cycle about transience, nostalgia, and our relationship with nature. These are weighty themes that invite reflection, accompanied by atmospheric compositions that invite you to drift off into a dreamlike state.
