Workshop Reflect Yourself! = VOL

Visual artists and writers are often good at observing. In art and literature, creators reflect on reality. This can be seen in the exhibition Mirror | Mirror at Kunsthal KAdE. Follow the workshop Reflect Yourself, writing on my self-portrait and use the mirror as a tool to reflect on your true nature or the illusion you see.

With a hand mirror and three photographs from the past, we give words to our own reflection in the workshop. We observe our external features, make our reflections and our desires visible and capture them in words. We give meaning to details we observe and incorporate them into the written self-portrait. Our self-portrait can be realistic or self-made up. Who are you or would you like to be? Reflect yourself!
