De Jong is known for his life-size human figures made of Styrofoam and polyurethane foam, but in the "Ministry of Fear/Foam" exhibition, you also become overwhelmed by all his drawings. The artist sketches in large format using coarse and detailed sketching techniques with which he creates a representation of his creative and imaginative thoughts. During this workshop, art teacher Robin Theijn will teach you to look at De Jong's art and translate it into a sketch on paper. After a short tour of the exhibition, you will get to work with charcoal and chalk in between the artworks!
