Storytelling and drawing party!

On Saturday, Oct. 12, we will search for the best bed to sleep in! Huh? Illustrator Tjarko van der Pol illustrated the book: 'I want another bed'. A wordless picture book in which a girl with lots of imagination goes in search of the best bed to sleep in. From a tree bed ('Yawn, itchy bugs!') and a bunk bed full of friends ('Too much noise!'), she ends up on a lounger on a desert island ('Pfff, hot!') and a snow bed in an icy country ('Brrr!'). But sleeping still doesn't work. Maybe her own bed is nicest after all?

Meet Tjarko van der Pol during a storytelling and drawing party organized by the Eemland Library and Kunsthal KAdE, get to work yourself and also visit the exhibition Sleep! in the art hall. A party not to be missed!
