Tours
A museum docent takes the groups on an interactive tour of the exhibit. Students are actively involved in what they see. Through questions and assignments, they learn to look and argue for themselves and together. The duration of the tour is 60 minutes. Costs are € 50 per 15 pupils. Per 15 students, we schedule one museum docent and ask that you provide one chaperone. We can accommodate a class of up to 30 students at a time.
Teaching Materials
Lessons are developed especially for middle and upper school students. You will find Kunsthal KAdE on LessonUp with preparation lessons for the digiboard. These lessons will help your students warm up for the visit.

KAdE behind the scenes
In addition to our tours and preparation classes, we developed the teaching program especially for secondary schools: KAdE behind the scenes. Pupils get a look behind the scenes at Kunsthal KAdE.
What is involved in creating an exhibition? Is an art hall different from a museum? And who are the people behind an exhibition and what do they do? These questions and many others will be answered in this interactive workshop. At school, students first watch the film KAdE behind the scenes. After this preparation in class, the students will go to the Kunsthal themselves. Together with a museum teacher, they will investigate how the new exhibition is put together. Afterwards, they create their own exhibition in class.

Digital tear-off calendar I for group 4,5 and 6
Amersfoort is bursting with art, not only in the museums but also on the streets. Discover special works of art with the digital tear-off calendar. This free tool for the digiboard is full of exciting viewing, thinking and playing assignments about Amersfoort art. The tear-off calendar is structured in such a way that you can use it as a kind of art snack between classes. Look, Art is the museum project that can be booked as a follow-up. The students come into contact with various works of art in the museum. Then they get to work themselves in a charcoal drawing workshop. Because by drawing you see more! Kunsthal KAdE brings artworks from all over the world to Amersfoort three times a year and does not have its own collection, so there is something completely new to see every time. For each temporary exhibition, Kunsthal KAdE makes one matching tear-off calendar sheet.
