In the Meissen presentation, about 50 masterpieces from English and German private collections were displayed in specially designed showcases by the New York architectural firm SO - IL. The ambitions were to generate a different "viewing experience": the objects were shown, as far as possible, solitary in three-dimensional showcases, where part of the sides of the pyramid-shaped hoods were colored, filtering the "gaze" and reflecting the object through a mirror base. One side always remained transparent, so that the porcelain could also be viewed directly and "unobstructed. On the upper floor was an overview of architectural models by SO - IL. A catalog accompanied the exhibition.
