Fifty pieces from private collections in Great Britain and Germany were shown in showcases purposely designed by the New York architecture firm SO – IL. It was the ambition to create a new viewing experience, by placing the objects solitary in free standing showcases. The piramid-shaped, colourful tops filter the gaze, while a mirror on the bottom enhances the viewing angles. On the top floor an overview of the architectural work of SO – IL was presented.
