Meet our children's panel
The Amersfoort museums: Kunsthal KAdE, Museum Flehite and the Mondriaanhuis have their own children's panel since this year. For the exhibition Sleep! they wrote their own museum texts.

Now on display in the Elleboog Church: Krijn de Koning & Armando
Museum Flehite received a generous donation from the Armando Foundation. To celebrate, Flehite, together with KAdE, is exhibiting a selection of works in the Elleboogkerk. Artist Krijn de Koning conceived a large architectural object for the presentation.
Wake up and come to sleep at KAdE
Walk through the four sleep stages and discover the realm of sleep and dreams. Seen through the eyes of 50 artists and designers.
Special Award
Exhibition maker Judith van Meeuwen and educators Tess Bonouvrié and Dieuwertje Sjoerds made a selection from the Special Award entries based on the theme of "sleep.

Are you coming to Kunsthal KAdE for a long time during spring break? For the exhibition Ministry of Fear/Foam by Folkert de Jong, we have again organized fun children's activities.

Starting January 28, Folkert de Jong's oeuvre retrospective "Ministry of Fear/Foam" will be on display at Kunsthal KAdE. This is the first time since 2009 that the artist will have such a large museum solo in the Netherlands.

Dance film in 'Mirror Mirror'
Kunsthal KAdE is open again! 'Mirror Mirror' is finally on display, but even while we were closed something special took place. The dancers of the Amersfoort-based organization New Choreographic Design recorded a unique dance film among the artworks.
Drawing Dates at Kunsthal KAdE
During the Drawing Dates on June 23 at Kunsthal KAdE, artists can engage in a feedback conversation about their brought drawings with Caren van Herwaarden, Arno Kramer and Marisa Rappard.
Selfie Challenge
The Selfie Challenge was a success! The challenge took place as part of the exhibition "Mirror Mirror" and specifically the work of participating artist Tanja Ritterbex. The entries and winners can be seen here.
Jasper Hagenaar in The Window Bank
A 10-minute walk from Kunsthal KAdE, two paintings by Jasper Hagenaar are on display at De Vensterbank on Bergstraat 32 in Amersfoort. Work by the artist is simultaneously on display at the Kunsthal in the exhibition 'Mirror | Mirror. Reflect Yourself! Kunsthal KAdE is unfortunately still closed, but come and see art in De Vensterbank!
KOSMIK x Kunsthal KAdE
The VERDIEPING project took place March 12, 13 and 14. For a year, six talented makers worked hard on their own exhibition under the guidance of art director Bobby Littlejohn and Coen Witteveen (KOSMIK). Kunsthal KAdE had the makers photographed in a special way, in a work of art.
'Mirror | Mirror' extended through Aug. 29
The exhibition Mirror | Mirror. Reflect Yourself! has been extended through Aug. 29. Courtesy of the artists and lenders, the exhibition - not yet open due to coronagraphs - will be on view all summer long. As soon as it can, Kunsthal KAdE opens and visitors can marvel at the versatility of the phenomenon of mirroring. With the extension of Mirror | Mirror, this year's planned solo exhibition by John Körmeling shifts to next summer.

Kunsthal KAdE extends 'Tell Me Your Story' through Aug. 30
The exhibition Tell Me Your Story, about 100 years of storytelling in African-American art, has been extended through Aug. 30. Thanks to generous loaners, the exhibition - currently closed due to measures surrounding the corona crisis - can be on view in Amersfoort for longer.

Artist Lotje van Lieshout teaches a workshop at the Sandberg Institute in which you will learn to use visual effects invented by the pioneers of film.
10 years of Kunsthal KAdE
Kunsthal KAdE will celebrate its 10th anniversary on May 1. In 10 years, 40 presentations have been made, three a year since 2012. Some 350,000 visitors passed through the front door. About 400 national and international artists participated.

A catalog in Dutch and English will be published by Bekking & Blitz. Also appearing with this exhibition is the picture book "Caspar met de Oogjes.
Photographer Hans Wilschut works on special photo assignment in Italy
The photo assignment involves: capturing in the "now" cityscapes in Rome, Naples and Venice with which Caspar van Wittel achieved world fame between 1674 and 1736.

Henk Stallinga has created a brand new work especially for the exhibition A Balancing Act. It temporarily replaces the light installation 'Lumens' currently on display in the exhibition at Kunsthal KAdE.
The Great KAdE Pavement Cricket Day
Kunsthal KAdE is organizing ''The Great KAdE Sidewalk Chalk Day'' on June 21, inviting everyone to come chalk on Eemplein. There will also be children's flash tours, a walk-in workshop and participants can have their picture taken in a chalk decor.
The Window Bank by Lenneke van der Goot
Until September 30, the work ''Object Space'' by Lenneke van der Goot is on display at DE VENSTERBANK in Amersfoort. This work counts as the sister of her work in the exhibition KRIJT in Kunsthal KAdE: ''Object Field''.
MIR Project
Jitske Bakker is a participating artist in the exhibition KRIJT. This summer she has been invited by MIR to create new work along the Eem in De Nieuwe Stad Amersfoort.

Museum Flehite and Kunsthal KAdE earned an honorable place in the top 3 of the 2017 Turing Award with the exhibition plan for Caspar van Wittel "The Discovery of a Dutch Master in Italy.
Tuesday, Oct. 24 KAdE closed until 1 p.m.
Due to the royal visit to the Eemhuis, Kunsthal KAdE will be closed on Tuesday morning, October 24. From 1 p.m. we will be open and the exhibition can be visited again.
