Autumn vacations at Kunsthal KAdE

On Sunday afternoon, October 15, the Eemhuis will host the Children's Book Festival. There are several performances and workshops around the theme of Creepy. At KAdE you can visit the exhibition FIRE drop in at the workshop Making monsters with Mary. Together with the workshop teacher, you will create a work of art just like Maria using different materials. The theme is horror! Even if you are not participating in the Children's Book Festival, there is plenty to experience in KAdE. At 1 p.m. an introductory tour will start, visitors (max. 15 people) can participate for free. In addition, young and old can get to work in the KAdEStudio. For example, make a hat for one of the lampposts in the KAdEStudio.

Not only in the Eemhuis and in KAdE is it bursting with activities this Sunday. On the Eemplein the 5th anniversary of the square will be celebrated. To celebrate this celebration we are lowering the entrance fee on this day to € 2,-. 

On Tuesday, October 17 and Sunday, October 22, a children's tour "Forbidden for Parents" is scheduled. Together with the museum docent you will explore the exhibition. Roll the dice and see which assignment belongs to it.

On Friday, Oct. 20, there will be a workshop Making monsters with Mary. Together with the workshop teacher you will visit the exhibition for inspiration. Then, like Maria, you will work with wool, 'glass' and fabric, among other things.

 This fall break, you can also enter the Museum Kids Week contest again. Under the motto "Is it exciting in a museum?" children can look for the most exciting places in the exhibition to take a selfie.
