Due to an internal renovation, KAdE will be closed until August 23. However, you can visit the new installation of Hans Op de Beeck At The Elbow at Langegracht 36. Starting August 24, the exhibition Sleep! on display at KAdE.

Opening hours during holidays
Kunsthal KAdE will be closed on King's Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. On December 5, 24 and 31, Kunsthal KAdE will close one hour earlier.

On Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, Ascension Day, Pentecost Sunday, Whit Monday and Boxing Day, we are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Elbow Church
Alongside the exhibition at Kunsthal KAdE is an installation by Hans Op de Beeck At The Elbow. Especially for this location, Hans Op de Beeck creates a winter water landscape. In his work, water stands both literally and figuratively for "reflection": reflecting, contemplating, contemplating. This installation is separate from the exhibition at Kunsthal KAdE and can be visited in conjunction with the exhibition and separately. See below for entrance fees.

The visiting address of Kunsthal KAdE is Eemplein 77 (Eemkwartier district) in Amersfoort. Plan your route with Google Maps. Parking is available under the Eemhuis in parking garage Eemplein.

Accessibility

The Eemhuis and Kunsthal KAdE are wheelchair-friendly. There is an elevator in the building that allows you to reach all floors. It is also possible to reserve a wheelchair. You can call 033 422 50 30 to do so.

For those with walking difficulties, we have special museum chairs available. These are set up at the beginning of the exhibition and you can use them during your visit.

Photography
Photography (without flash) is allowed in the art hall. Taking a selfie (without flash) is also allowed, nice if you tag us on social media via @kunsthal_kade_amersfoort. Due to the risks of damaging works of art and injuring visitors, taking photos / selfies with a so-called selfie stick is not allowed.

What is there to see now?

The exhibition 4 National Collections & Hans Op de Beeck will be on display at Kunsthal KAdE from January 27, 2024.

What are your opening hours?

We are open Tuesday through Sunday from 10am-17pm.

Are you open during holidays?

Can I buy tickets at the box office?

It is not mandatory to purchase a ticket online. You can also purchase a ticket directly at the box office prior to your visit.

I still want to buy a ticket online, where can I do that?

On the left side of the menu bar you will find the option 'order tickets'. You can pay with IDEAL. NOTE: if you did not receive a confirmation email after purchase please also check your junk email.

Is it necessary to print the e-ticket(s)?

There is no need to print your e-ticket(s). Scanning the ticket can be done either from a cell phone or from the printed ticket.

I bought a ticket online, but want to cancel it or move it to another day or time, is that possible?

Refunds are unfortunately not possible.

On the left side of the menu bar you will find the option "Plan your visit," there you will find practical information.

Can the KAdEStudio be visited?

The KAdEStudio is a regular feature of Kunsthal KAdE's exhibitions, offering visitors of all ages the space to reflect, share and create in response to the exhibition. Temporarily, the KAdEStudio is not accessible by wheelchair.

When is the KAdECafé open?

The KAdECafé is open Monday through Sunday from 9:30-17 a.m. You can go there for coffee, lunch or drinks.

Is the KAdEShop open?

The KAdEShop Is open (Tues-Sun from 10am-17pm). Closed during set-up and take-down of exhibitions.
