Kunsthal KAdE
Van 1 februari t/m 4 mei 2025 is de tentoonstelling Mona Hatoum: Inside Out on display at KAdE.
Opening hours during holidays
Kunsthal KAdE is gesloten op Koningsdag (let op: Koningsdag 2025 valt op zaterdag 26 april), eerste kerstdag en nieuwjaarsdag. Op 5, 24 en 31 december gaat Kunsthal KAdE een uur eerder dicht.
On Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, Ascension Day, Pentecost Sunday, Whit Monday and Boxing Day, we are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Accessibility
Het Eemhuis en Kunsthal KAdE zijn rollator- en rolstoelvriendelijk. In het gebouw bevindt zich een lift waarmee je alle verdiepingen kunt bereiken. Het is ook mogelijk een rolstoel te reserveren. Facilities
- Our staff is always at your service and can help with opening doors or determining the most pleasant walking route.
- For those with walking difficulties, we have special museum chairs available. These are set up at the beginning of the exhibition and you can use them during your visit.
- There is an adapted restroom at the KAdECafé.
- Visitors who cannot move through the museum independently may bring a companion free of charge.
- Kunsthal KAdE is accessible with an assistance or guide dog if it is recognizable.
- Parking is available under the Eemhuis, which houses Kunsthal KAdE, in parking garage Eemplein.
- Prefer to park somewhere else? Check out the city map with adapted parking spaces. But please note that even with a GPK, a dispensation is required to enter the car-free downtown area. You can here applications.
- Kunsthal KAdE has the Picto Museum Card, for people with communication disabilities. These can be requested at the box office and used during the visit. See here A video explaining the Picto Museum Card.

Elleboogkerk
Naast de tentoonstelling in Kunsthal KAdE is van 1 februari t/m 4 mei 2025 de installatie Web (2024) van Mona Hatoum te zien in de Elleboogkerk. This installation is separate from the exhibition at Kunsthal KAdE, tickets can be purchased at the Elleboog Church at the box office. See below for entrance fees.

Address and route advice
The visiting address of Kunsthal KAdE is Eemplein 77 (Eemkwartier district) in Amersfoort. Plan your route with Google Maps. Parking is available under the Eemhuis in parking garage Eemplein.
By bus from Amersfoort Central Station (duration 12 minutes)
City bus 1, 2, 3, 4 or 7. Get off at bus stop Amersfoort Eemplein. From there, walk towards the traffic circle. After crossing the traffic circle, turn left onto the Eemplein. Here you will find Kunsthal KAdE after walking a few meters straight ahead.
Walk from Amersfoort Centraal station (distance 1 km, duration approximately 13 minutes)
From Amersfoort Central Station, walk to the Piet Mondriaanlaan exit. Then follow Piet Mondriaanlaan to the traffic circle. Go straight ahead at the traffic circle and walk onto the Eemplein. Here you will find Kunsthal KAdE after walking straight ahead for a few meters.

Photography
Het is toegestaan om te fotograferen (zonder flits) in de kunsthal. Het maken van een selfie (zonder flits) is ook toegestaan, leuk als je ons tagt op social media via @kunsthal_kade_amersfoort. In verband met de risico’s op beschadiging van kunstwerken en het verwonden van bezoekers is het maken van foto’s/selfies met een statief of zogenaamde selfie-stick niet toegestaan.

Can I buy tickets at the box office?
It is not mandatory to purchase a ticket online. You can also purchase a ticket directly at the box office prior to your visit.
I still want to buy a ticket online, where can I do that?
On the left side of the menu bar you will find the option 'order tickets'. You can pay with IDEAL. NOTE: if you did not receive a confirmation email after purchase please also check your junk email.
Is it necessary to print the e-ticket(s)?
There is no need to print your e-ticket(s). Scanning the ticket can be done either from a cell phone or from the printed ticket.
I bought a ticket online, but want to cancel it or move it to another day or time, is that possible?

Can the KAdEStudio be visited?
The KAdEStudio is a regular feature of Kunsthal KAdE's exhibitions, offering visitors of all ages the space to reflect, share and create in response to the exhibition. Temporarily, the KAdEStudio is not accessible by wheelchair.
When is the KAdECafé open?
The KAdECafé is open Monday through Sunday from 9:30-17 a.m. You can go there for coffee, lunch or drinks.
Is the KAdEShop open?
The KAdEShop Is open (Tues-Sun from 10am-17pm). Closed during set-up and take-down of exhibitions.
