Address and route advice

The visiting address of Kunsthal KAdE is Eemplein 77 in Amersfoort. Plan your route with Google Maps. Parking is possible below the Eemhuis in parking garage Eemplein. Are you coming by train? Take the exit to the Piet Mondriaanplein and turn right to the Piet Mondriaanlaan. Follow the road for about 700 meters until the roundabout and cross over to the Eemplein. You will find Kunsthal KAdE on the Eemplein on your right.

Opening hours during holidays

Kunsthal KAdE is closed on Kingsday, Christmas Day and New Year's day.

On Boxing Day, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, Ascension Day, Whit Sunday and Whit Monday we are open from 11 A.M. to 5 P.M. 

Entrance fees

The three exhibitions in 2020 are all about America. A one-off surcharge of € 5,- applies to the three exhibitions combined. Tell Me Your Story opens on Saturday, February 8. Visitors will receive a proof of payment at the cash register to prove that the surcharge has already been paid for the next two exhibitions in 2020. Entrance fees including € 5,- surcharge:

Kunsthal KAdE accepts the Utrecht Region Pass. With the Utrecht Region Pass traveling by public transport is easy and carefree. It is also your access to selected attractions in the Utrecht Region, like Kunsthal KAdE. More information.

House rules

Photography and Selfie sticks

Making a Selfie (without flash) is permitted in Kunsthal KAdE, and it is nice if you mention us on social media. In view of the risks of damage to works of art and wounding visitors making photos with a so-called Selfie stick is not permitted.

Wheelchair access
The Eemhuis and Kunsthal KAdE are wheelchair-friendly. There is an elevator in the building. It is also possible to reserve a wheelchair. Please phone 033-4225030 for this.
