A visit to Kunsthal KAdE is possible under the supervision of our experienced tour guides and KAdE teachers. They will gladly take you on a tour of the exhibition. In addition to the options mentioned on this website, there are more options for a supervised visit to KAdE. We’ll gladly hear from you in what way the exhibition programme of KAdE could fit in with the activities on your school. For questions, suggestions and/or applications, please send a message to education@kunsthalkade.nl.

Primary education

Groups from primary education are welcome to visit KAdE all year round Tuesdays to Fridays from 11 A.M. to 5 P.M., to see the continuously changing exhibitions in the field of (contemporary) art, design, and contemporary visual culture. The exhibitions can be visited in a number of ways.

Tours
A KAdE teacher takes the pupils on an interactive tour of the exhibition. Pupils are actively involved in what they see. Through questions and assignments they learn to look for themselves, look together and argue their case.

Practical information:
Duration of the tour is 60 minutes. Per 15 pupils we schedule 1 teacher.

Prices: A visit supervised by a KAdE teacher costs €35,- per teacher/15 pupils. This includes the entry tickets for supervising teachers/parents.

A tour can also be applied for two weeks in advance at the most; contact via boekingen@kunsthalkade.nl

Autonomous visit
In addition to supervised visits, it is also possible to visit the exhibition autonomously. An autonomous visit can be prepared for with a lesson scheme.

Practical information: We assume that you will bring a sufficient number of supervisors. Groups are based on 1 supervisor for 7 children. In case of an autonomous visit children have free access, as they are younger than 18 years old. Supervising teachers/parents pay €6,25. We appreciate it if you notify us of your visit. You can do so by mail: boekingen@kunsthalkade.nl.

Preparation of your visit
For each exhibition preparatory teaching material is developed. If this material does not meet the core aims, alternative teaching material may be used. To apply for the lesson scheme free of obligations, please send an e-mail to Ilona Witjes, boekingen@kunsthalkade.nl.

Secondary education

Secondary education pupils are welcome at Kunsthal KAdE, either individually or in groups. Autonomously, they can visit the varying range of exhibitions in the field of international (contemporary) art, design, contemporary visual culture and architecture, in cooperation with the Amersfoort Architecture Centre. There is always a written guide available.

Exhibitions can be visited in various ways.
