Kunsthal KAdE will host the exhibition: One Way Ticket to Mars from September 2019. Especially to accompany this exhibition, we are organizing the lecture series: How do I survive... Mars? In three lectures you will discover together with experts whether it is possible to make the journey to Mars. How unruly are the conditions of the newly discovered planet? Is living on Mars a terrifying idea or just a tantalizing one? Why do people actually want to go to Mars and is it life or "survival" on this planet?

Okay, so you want to go to Mars. But do you know what you're getting into? A trip to Mars is a bit different from a long car ride to the campsite in France. It starts with the rocket launch. Then you spend eight months on the road in a small spaceship, risking your life. And then you also have to land safely. What is involved in a space trip to Mars, and how dangerous is it really?
