On November 8, in collaboration with the KNIPMEISJES, we are organizing a workshop for adults in conjunction with the new Frankenthaler/Judd exhibition.
What happens when you let go of control just a little? And what happens when you then start playing with form, rhythm, and space?
In this creative workshop, we’ll draw inspiration from Helen Frankenthaler and Donald Judd. First, we’ll experiment with diluted paint: letting colors flow, blend, clash, and go their own way. Then we’ll get to work with cardboard and discover what happens when we cut, fold, stack, and combine shapes.
There’s no right or wrong, and you don’t need any experience. It’s all about trying, changing, and discovering what emerges. You can experiment with color, shape, and space in your own way. And before you know it, you’ll end up with a colorful, three-dimensional work of art to take home.
Date: Sunday, November 8
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Target audience: adults
Location: Kunsthal KAdE
Costs: €10, excluding admission fees
