Horror film screening

Folkert de Jong has been fascinated by various horror films from an early age, this inspiration can also be seen in his work. Especially for this collaboration with filmtheater De Lieve Vrouw, Folkert selected one of his favorite horror films.

The most famous, most imaginative, most often imitated and parodied horror film ever. We are, of course, talking about William Friedkin's The Exorcist. The image of the priest in the light of the bedroom is iconic, the priests trying with all their might to exorcise the demon as well: "The power of Christ compels you! 

This title was selected by artist Folkert de Jong, De Jong will also give an introduction at the start of the film about fear as a driving force.
