Did you know that works of art have superpowers?
Some make you happy, others sad, curious, restless, or courageous. You understand one work of art immediately, while another remains exciting and mysterious.
Through conversation starters, imagination exercises, and games, you will discover together what superpowers the artworks possess.
The family route can be borrowed free of charge at the Kunsthal KAdE ticket office.
There are new superpowers to discover at every exhibition, and afterwards you get to take home a SUPERKUNST collector card.
Are you collecting them all?
Get creative in the KAdEStudio
The KAdEStudio is a permanent feature of our exhibitions and is suitable for all ages. Here you can reflect, respond, and create yourself.
Jacob Lawrence's exhibition focuses on the importance of stories: stories about where you come from, who inspires you, and who makes a difference in your community.
At KAdEStudio, we ask:
Who makes a difference in your life?
Your grandmother who always listens? A neighbor who helps? A friend who encourages you?
Create your own collage about the people who are important to you and show what story your surroundings tell.
Bonus: Elbow Church
This Christmas break is your last chance to see the space-filling installation. Heaven's Hotline from Nina Chanel Abney Inspired by artists from the Harlem Renaissance, such as Jacob Lawrence, Abney creates extraordinary installations.
Would you like to learn more about the work? Then come to the Intro at the Elleboogkerk!
We wish you a warm, creative, and inspiring Christmas holiday in Kunsthal KAdE and the Elleboogkerk!
