The month of June at Kunsthal KAdE is all about creativity, exploration and encounters. With a varied program for young and old, we invite visitors to experience art in an active and surprising way.
1. Boarding tours - every Sunday
Every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., you can participate in an entry-level tour led by doublesolo Mella Jaarsma: Trouble Skirts | Roy Villevoye: Imaginable Lives. Let a museum docent take you along and discover the stories behind the works of art.
2. Introduction to the Elbow Church - Sunday, June 1.
On Sunday, June 1, at 1:30 p.m., there will be an introduction to the impressive installation Eroded Borders of the Indonesian artist collective GEGERBOYO at the Elbow Church. This session offers depth and room for questions, and is free with a valid admission ticket
3. Children's workshop with Mella Jaarsma - Saturday, June 7.
On Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., children will work with artist Mella Jaarsma to create their own artwork. A unique opportunity to stimulate creativity and learn about contemporary art.
4. Trouble Skirts & Cotton Printing - Saturday, June 7
During this activity, you will get a tour of Mella Jaarsma's art, followed by a cotton printing workshop in the workshop of De Katoendrukkerij in the Volmolen. Be inspired by the artworks and create your own unique textile artwork.
