Reprise theater lecture Govert Schilling - Extraterrestrial
Last year, the Eemhuis Library was completely full twice because of the sold-out theater lecture Extraterrestrial. Therefore, science journalist and astronomer Govert Schilling is coming October 27 for just one more reprise! Schilling will take the audience on a fascinating quest for extraterrestrial life. There will be a performance at 3:30 p.m., one at 6:30 p.m. and one at 9 p.m.
What do we really know about the universe? Can we expect a visit from aliens one day? UFOs, space travel, extraterrestrial civilizations - everything passes by in this cosmic spectacle about how unique life on earth is. Together with the audience and using various experiments, Schilling tries to unravel the secrets of the universe. Is there such a thing as a mathematical formula to determine the probability that we are not alone in this immense universe?
The Library and Kunsthal KAdE are pulling out all the stops for the theater lecture. Inspired by the popular science theater lectures of the television program DWDD University, the main hall of the Eemhuis will be transformed into a multimedia planetarium. During the performance there will be live music led by Thijs Borsten.
