Photo exhibition Contemporary cityscapes

Photographers from Keistad Fotocollectief exhibit their work in large format on the traverse of the Amersfoort NS railway station.

The board of the Friends of Caspar van Wittel Foundation cordially invites You to the opening of the photo exhibition Contemporary cityscapes, in the spirit of Caspar van Wittel on Friday, March 29, at 2 p.m. at the Amersfoort train station traverse. The exhibition will be opened by Roger van Boxtel, President and CEO of NS.

Twelve panoramic photographs of Amersfoort city locations can be seen on the windows of this station truss until May 5, 2019. They were taken by photographers from Keistad Foto Collectief "in the spirit of Caspar van Wittel. That is, in the manner in which the Amersfoort-born artist Caspar van Wittel (1653 - 1736) painted his cityscapes: with a colorful palette, with special attention to perspective and line play, and with atmospheric lights and skies. Caspar van Wittel became famous for it in Italy under the name Gaspare Vanvitelli.
