Christmas vacations at Kunsthal KAdE

Join us during the Christmas vacations for the much talked about (family) exhibition A Balancing Act at Kunsthal KAdE, have your picture taken while balancing with everyday objects in the decor of the KAdEStudio and design your own floating mobile in the Workshop. There are fun activities for the whole family, including workshops and tours. Click on the dates in the activities below for more information. 

Boarding tour
Sunday December 23 and January 6 from 13:00 - 14:00
Free for visitors to Kunsthal KAdE. 

Walk-in workshop Make your own mobile!
Sunday, December 23 from 13:00 - 15:00
Using colored paper and special iron wire, you will make your own mobile in the workshop in the middle of the exhibition in the style of artist Alexander Calder (a mobile by Calder is also on display in the exhibition)
The workshop is suitable for all ages.

Children's tour 'Forbidden for parents'
Sunday, December 23 and January 6 from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m.
An interactive, discovery tour for children ages 6 to 10 accompanied by a museum docent. 
A maximum of 10 children can participate and the tour costs €2,- p.p.

Family tour
Sunday, December 30 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
An interactive tour suitable for young and old. 

Kunsthal KAdE is open Tuesday through Sunday (from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Kunsthal KAdE is closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Sunday January 6 is the last day of the exhibition. A Balancing Act. The exhibition will conclude in style: with a KAdE Balance Day. Click here for all activities that day.

On Saturday, January 26, the exhibition opens MAESTRO VAN WITTEL - Dutch master of the Italian cityscape.
