While the first flowers are already beginning to bloom, the weather remains fickle. What to do during spring break when it rains? At Kunsthal KAdE you can stay dry ánd there is plenty to do!

Mona Hatoum - Inside Out

Kunsthal KAdE presents a solo exhibition dedicated to the work of British-Palestinian artist Mona HatoumEntitled Inside Out features work from throughout the artist's career: from her performance and videos from the 1980s to recent sculptures, installations and works on paper. This is the first major survey of the artist's work in the Netherlands. 

So is Mona Hatoum's exhibition Inside Out suitable for children? Yes, although Mona Hatoum addresses large social themes in her works, you can always have conversations about what a home means to you and look at the impressive works together. Activities

At KAdE during spring break there are also all kinds of activities to experience, for kids, families and adults. Paid activities as well as free activities. For the most up to date overview here.

On March 1, your (grand)child can join our children's tour. Grab yourself a cup of coffee in the café and let your child explore the exhibition with one of our museum docents.

On March 2, you can be surprised at the Elbow Church by a pop-up performance by Ensemble Circe. Four female voices will enchant you under the artwork Web (2025) by Mona Hatoum. The performance lasts only 10 minutes, making it great to visit with your child and/or family. The activity is free to attend, upon presentation of a valid admission ticket.

On March 2, you can join the boarding tour at Kunsthal KAdE and/or join the intro afterwards at the Elbow Church.

And good news for those with little ones, children up to age 18 always have free admission at Kunsthal KAdE and the Elbow Church.
