The path of decolonization, anti-racism and solidarity with the anti-apartheid struggle in South Africa has many obstacles. Together with others, Marjan Boelsma devoted herself to solidarity with the liberation struggle in South Africa and victims of the apartheid regime. Among other things, she was a UN observer at the first general elections in South Africa in 1994. She talks from her own experiences and current events about anti-racism and decolonization and the role of white people.
