Continuing Education

Guided tour

A museum docent takes the students on a 60-minute interactive tour, during which they are actively involved with questions and assignments. The cost is €50 per 15 students; one museum docent and one supervisor are required per 15 students. A maximum of 30 students can participate per time slot.

Independent visit with art guide

Students can also visit the exhibition independently. Each exhibition comes with a free art guide: a booklet with questions and assignments for viewing and discussing works of art (duration approx. 40 minutes).

KAdE behind the scenes

What goes into creating an exhibition, and how does an art gallery differ from a museum? In this program, students discover the world behind the scenes. They start at school with the film KAdE behind the scenes, visit the art gallery for an interactive tour and a meet & greet with a staff member, and then create their own exhibition back at school.

Preparation in class: watching the movie KAdE behind the scenes.
Visit to Kunsthal KAdE: guided tour and meet & greet with an employee.
Processing workshop at school: Students create their own exhibition.

Teaching Materials

Lessons are developed especially for secondary schools. You can find Kunsthal KAdE on LessonUp with preparation lessons for the digiboard. These lessons will help your students warm up for the visit.
