Examination tour
Students taking exams can take a guided tour with us that aligns with the (final) exam topics for General Art and Tehatex. Together with a museum docent, students will explore artworks and themes that relate to their exam topics. Please contact us at boekingen@kunsthalkade.nl to discuss options.
Independent visit with art guide
Students can also visit the exhibition independently. Each exhibition comes with a free art guide: a booklet with questions and assignments for viewing and discussing works of art (duration approx. 40 minutes).
KAdE behind the scenes
What does it take to put together an exhibition, and how does an art gallery differ from a museum? In this program, students discover what goes on behind the scenes. Students watch the short film ‘Behind the Scenes.’ After the film, they come up with interview questions for a meet-and-greet with an art gallery staff member. During a guided tour, they’ll meet the staff member and explore the exhibition. We’ll wrap up the program with a challenge in which students step into the role of the exhibition curator.
Teaching Materials
Lessons are developed especially for secondary schools. You can find Kunsthal KAdE on LessonUp with preparation lessons for the digiboard. These lessons will help your students warm up for the visit.
